The Côte Sauvage

This is the peninsula's big Atlantic beach: more than twenty kilometres of sand stretching from the Coubre point to La Palmyre. Several access points are lifeguarded in July and August, particularly around La Bouverie and the Pointe Espagnole. The waves here are noticeably bigger than at Bonne Anse — the local surfers' and longboarders' spot.
